See with Your Own Eyes How You Can Search, Replace and Collect with PowerGREP

Self-Running Demonstrations

We have created five self-running demonstrations for you. They show the actual software at work, with text balloons explaining what is going on. You can watch them right here inside your web browser. You do not need to download or install anything.

PowerGREP in Use

The actions performed in these two demonstrations are based on examples that are described in great detail in the documentation that comes with PowerGREP. Do not worry if the regular expressions look complicated. PowerGREP's documentation contains a comprehensive introduction to regular expressions, and many step by step examples showing you the basic principles of building regular expressions. The free evaluation version also includes this documentation.

Searching for Email Addresses (2'47"). This demo shows how you can search for information (such as somebody's email address) that is buried somewhere in the files and folders on your computer, and find exactly what you want.

Updating Copyright Statements (3'38"). This demo shows how you can quickly update a multitude files with powerful search and replace operations using regular expressions, such as updating the copyright statements on your web site, in your source code, etc.

Integration with RegexBuddy

PowerGREP and RegexBuddy integration (1'57"). PowerGREP integrates tightly with RegexBuddy. Use RegexBuddy to easily create regular expressions with plain English building blocks or to test and debug regular expressions in a safe sandbox. This demo shows how easy it is to invoke RegexBuddy from within PowerGREP. Check out RegexBuddy's web site for demos showing what RegexBuddy can do for you.
