How To Get The Latest Version

If you purchased PowerGREP on or after April 8th, 2005, your license is already valid for the latest version of PowerGREP and you can download it immediately.

If you purchased PowerGREP prior to April 8th, 2005, you own PowerGREP version 2. If you download PowerGREP again, you will receive PowerGREP 2.3.3, which is the latest free minor update for you. PowerGREP 3 is a major upgrade from PowerGREP 2, with many new features and significant enhancements. Since you already own version 2, you can buy version 3 at the discounted price of US$ 69.95 instead of the full price of US$ 149.00 which new customers pay. That's a 50% discount!

If you are not sure whether you own version 2 or version 3, simply type in your user id and email address below. If you own version 2, you will be presented with the form to purchase the upgrade. If you own version 3, you will be told you can download the latest version free of charge.

You can purchase the upgrade from PowerGREP 2 to PowerGREP 3 directly from us (Just Great Software) online with your credit card or a US check. If you pay by credit card, you will be able to download the latest version immediately after placing your order. If you purchase through PayPal, you will be able to download the new version immediately if you pay with PayPal funds or a credit card. PayPal eCheck orders take a few days to clear.

The exact pricing depends on the number of users your license is valid for. If you use the above form, your PowerGREP 3 license will be valid for the same number of users as your PowerGREP 2 license. Why Upgrade

PowerGREP 3 introduces many new features and significant enhancements, along with a completely redesigned interface. Migrating from PowerGREP 2.x to 3.0 will take a bit of getting used to. The PowerGREP 3.0 migration guide explains the most important differences.

Once you've made the move from PowerGREP 2.x to 3.0, you will find this new version a far superior and more capable tool. When it comes to power and flexibility, PowerGREP 3.0 stands head and shoulders above all other Windows grep tools.

That doesn't make PowerGREP 3.0 more difficult to use than previous version. Quite to the contrary, in fact. When you take advantage of the new file sectioning and extra processing features, you'll often be able to use much simpler regular expressions in PowerGREP 3.0 than in previous versions of PowerGREP (or any other grep tool, for that matter).
